Blocks 3 & 4:
Taz really liked the ‘Pride of Bulgaria’ segment featuring Rusev and Aiden English. He’s happy for English, who has finally found a role on Smackdown Live. The creative team always seem to find a way to get him on the show each week, and he was very good in his role this week. Taz also thought Randy Orton’s RKO out of nowhere was executed perfectly.
Speaking about Dolph Ziggler’s impersonation of The Undertaker, Taz thought the announce team’s reaction to this entrance completely ‘sucked’. He feels that as soon as that gong initially struck, the announcers should have been in complete shock. Instead, Phillips and Saxton’s reactions felt weak and unbelievable.
Taz says he will be tuning in to watch Hell in a Cell because he can’t wait to see Ziggler take on Bobby Roode. He believes these two men are going to steal the show, and that’s one match that he wouldn’t want to follow if he was a talent working on that show.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
