He specifically liked that the last ‘still photo’ of Nakamura was actually Nakamura in real time, but he really wishes Nakamura would have taken out his mouth piece before cutting a promo. With Nakamura’s broken English, it’s tough to understand what he’s saying at the best of times so he really should take out his mouthpiece when cutting promos.
Taz says that while Mahal is still doing good work as WWE Champion, if they continue to rely on this racial tension storyline, there’s going to come a time when the Title is going to have to move on. He adds that Nakamura is in a good spot right now by being involved in the main event picture on Smackdown Live, and that can’t be taken for granted because a talent like Finn Balor has been unable to get back into the main event picture since returning from injury.
Taz doesn’t think Balor will be returning to the main event scene on RAW anytime soon. He says that if he was booking RAW, Balor would have been thrown right back into the main event scene after returning from injury but that’s not what WWE chose to do.
A listener calls into the show and says Enzo Amore’s intensity at the end of 205 Live last night was something he hadn’t seen from that character before. Taz didn’t watch the show last night but he says he will watch it today, and that’s a prime example of the ‘Amore factor’. Taz’s sure that Amore is going to add new elements to his character, because he really knows how to perform and get over.
