Jericho says he loves working with Roman Reigns, and they became very close friends during Jericho’s last run. Reigns is a very smart, funny, likeable guy, and Jericho says there is literally nothing for fans to boo when it comes to Reigns. Jericho assumes that McMahon will stick to his guns when it comes to booking Reigns in the top spot, because McMahon is spiteful and determined, and he always seems to be proven right at the end.
He recalls McMahon not being a fan of putting Charlotte and Sasha Banks in the main event slot for their Hell in a Cell match. Several people backstage fought him for it and he finally agreed, but the match didn’t really pan out. McMahon was proven right again on that night, and nobody questioned his decision to move the Women’s division out of the main event slot after that.
Speaking about the Universal Title match at No Mercy, Jericho says that Braun Strowman is the hottest guy in the company right now, and the finish to that match certainly didn’t help him. He says that Lesnar has had great matches in the past, but he appears to be uninterested in working with certain talents on occasion and Jericho doesn’t know why.
That sums up today’s episode of The Ross Report. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
