Ross welcomes Chris Jericho to the show.
Jericho says that his upcoming Rock N’ Wrestling cruise is something he’s been working on for the last couple of years. He wanted to have a cruise consisting of all the things that he’s interested in and passionate about which includes wrestling, rock n’ roll, podcasting, and so on. He doesn’t think he’ll be wrestling on this cruise but his band, Fozzy, will be performing.
He mentions that podcasting has become a very important part of his life. When he was originally approached about starting a podcast he didn’t want to do an all wrestling show. He was more interested in doing a ‘Chris Jericho’ show, where he can discuss a bunch of different topics that are of interest to him. He airs two shows a week, but he takes his recording equipment with him everywhere and banks interviews when he can.
Jericho says that his most recent run in WWE was one of his favourite runs ever, and he’s not done just yet. He says that he had to leave the business for a while several years ago because things weren’t going well and he didn’t want to become ‘some old, angry dude in the locker room’. He left for a while and came back better than ever, and now the business is fun for him again.
