Vito says he was quite shocked to see Cesaro knock his front teeth out by colliding face first with the ring post. He adds that Cesaro might have just over-extended himself when he went into the corner, because it’s very strange to see an injury of that severity from a routine slingshot into the corner. Nonetheless, Cesaro did a wonderful job in finishing the match, and the match was great overall.
Speaking about the Fatal 5-way for the Women’s Championship, Vito thought the sleeper pick to win this match was Emma. That didn’t happen, but Emma had a good showing nonetheless. He thought Nia Jax had her best in-ring showing to date in this match, and he thinks she’ll soon be ready for a major Championship push.
On the other hand, he thinks that Sasha Banks has lost her ‘glitz and glamour’, and the Bayley character simply isn’t believable. There’s no denying that Alexa Bliss is the star of this division right now, and he thinks WWE would be smart to protect her moving forward. If Nia Jax is destined to be the next Women’s Champion, he thinks Emma should be a transitional Champion who Jax can destroy for the Title, so Bliss doesn’t have to take that loss.
