On today’s show, Big Vito and Jeff Lane will discuss the No Mercy PPV.
Vito opens the show by saying that WWE dropped the ball with Jason Jordan on this show. In spite of how good Jordan is in the ring, the crowd just aren’t getting behind him. When Jordan finished his promo by saying The Miz ‘sucked’, he basically lost the entire crowd. Vito says that Jordan simply isn’t ready as a performer to be put in a Championship situation.
He says that some performers are simply more effective as tag team wrestlers. He thought American Alpha was a terrific team, and he doesn’t understand why WWE was in such a rush to split those guys up.
Vito says that WWE is killing him with this Bray Wyatt/Finn Balor feud. He can’t understand why WWE is burying Wyatt, one of the best characters on their programming. Also, Balor is nothing more than a Cruiserweight in his opinion, so this feud is going in the wrong direction altogether.
He goes on to say that he would not be comfortable taking Balor’s finishing move, the Coup de Grace. That move is very difficult to take safely, and it would be a terrible feeling just lying on the mat waiting for your opponent to stomp on your chest.
