Block 2:
Taz says he was intrigued when he heard that members of the Bullet Club were ‘invading’ the arena last night. He thought it would have been pretty cool if WWE would have embraced those guys, and invited them onto the show in one way or another. He says that the wrestling business really needs this type of thing right now, and it would have been a risk-free venture for WWE.
When Goldust attacked Finn Balor in the backstage area at one point in the show, Taz thought for a split second that we might actually see the Bullet Club on the show. He thought it would be cool to have Goldust versus Balor in the main event, and then the Bullet Club could have stormed the ring attacking one or both of them.
The Bullet Club obviously has a connection to both Goldust and Balor. Goldust is Cody Rhodes’ brother, and Balor was a member of the Bullet Club for some time. This could have then led into the Starrcade event, where the Rhodes brothers could have either teamed up or squared off against each other at the event their father originated.
