During the mail bag segment of today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked if WWE plans to eventually have a Royal Rumble match for the women’s division.
Meltzer said that he heard there were talks of possibly doing one, but he can’t confirm that those plans are set in stone at this moment. The belief is that the company finally has enough good women to do the match now and it could happen at some point.
Meltzer speculated that if they were to have one, fifteen women would probably be the number of females participating in the match.
