He says that Jinder Mahal is trying his best week after week but against his will, there’s just no angle between him and Nakamura right now. Russo has no idea why these two men are fighting or why they hate each other because WWE has failed to tell their audience these things. He says that maybe Mahal ate bad Japanese food and that’s why they’re fighting.
Russo says there was only one thing he wanted to hear on this show: Charlotte talking about her father. That would have been a truly genuine moment, and he would have loved it. Contrarily, WWE turned this into another terrible wrestling angle, and the moment was lost in a sea of other unimportant segments.
He says that similar to Mahal, Dolph Ziggler is giving his new gimmick 100% effort, but it’s simply terrible. He thinks these Ziggler segments are totally awkward, and he has no idea why WWE is continuing to try to get this over.
Speaking about WWE’s officials and writers, Russo says that these people simply “…have no pride and they don’t give a shi*”.
That sums up today’s episode of Vince Russo’s The Brand. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
