X-Pac opens today’s show by saying he enjoyed the finale of the Mae Young Classic. He points out that some fans have suggested that the match should have been longer, but he thought the length was just fine. He adds that Shayna Baszler is still fairly green in the business and it’s tough to book longer matches with a newer talent like that, so he thought WWE made a good call by keeping the match short and sweet.
He feels that producing a show to highlight WWE’s Female talent is the next logical step in the Women’s revolution. Apparently Triple H was recently asked on a conference call about the possibility of this happening, and he refused to acknowledge it as a possibility. This confused X-Pac because he thinks it’d be a great idea.
X-Pac was very impressed with the closing segment of Smackdown Live last week, when Kevin Owens left Vince McMahon bloodied in the middle of the ring due to a headbutt. X-Pac is sure that McMahon told Owens to make that headbutt look believable, and Shane McMahon would often say the same thing years ago when he was working angles with X-Pac.
