Blocks 3 & 4:
Speaking about Percy Watson’s work at the NXT commentary booth, Taz says Watson’s content is often very good, but the manner in which he delivers his lines is flawed. Taz says that Watson’s voice often fails to project over the other commentators or over the action in the ring. He adds that Ranallo’s voice provides the bass and McGuiness provides the treble, while Watson doesn’t really provide anything unique at all.
Taz comments on the match between Riddick Moss and Johnny Gargano. He hadn’t seen Moss work much before, but he was impressed with Moss’ physical stature. He says that Moss is a young guy and still has a lot to learn, but he thinks Moss is ‘money’. Gargano is obviously a tremendous talent who has an undeniable connectivity with the fans.
In spite of liking the match, Taz thought the finish of the match was weak considering how powerful and strong Moss looked throughout the majority of the contest. Taz thought Gargano should have utilized a higher impact finish to defeat Moss given the story they were telling throughout the match.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
