Block 2:
Taz thinks that Jordan’s character lacks depth right now, and that’s not Jordan’s fault. He says that performing as a babyface is one of the hardest things to do in the wrestling business, and he thinks Jordan should have turned heel two or three weeks after the big reveal that he is Kurt Angle’s son.
He points out that WWE seems to be writing a lot of ‘shoot’ style promos lately. While they’re refreshing from time to time, WWE needs to be careful because if they do this every week these promos become less effective. For the third week in a row we’ve seen this type of promo between Roman Reigns and John Cena, and Taz says it’s already becoming a bit much.
We also saw a shoot style promo between The Miz and Enzo Amore last night. While rumours continue to run wild about the heat Amore has backstage, Taz says Amore definitely doesn’t have heat with the company because he’s getting a massive push right now.
The positive thing about the promo segments of late, is that they’ve all been entertaining. Taz has noticed that very few fans are complaining about the plethora of promo segments, and few fans have been begging for more wrestling. When promo segments are good, fans don’t complain about them. Now it’s WWE’s job to ensure that the promo segments don’t becoming boring.
