Ross asks Kaitlyn if she’d ever consider returning to WWE. Kaitlyn says she gets that question a lot. It’s been almost four years now since she left WWE, and she really misses being in the ring. She really cherished her time in WWE and she says that everyone in that company was very good to her, so when she left it was very important to her that she left on good terms.
She says she wouldn’t rule out the possibility of returning to WWE at some point in the future, but she might not return as an in-ring competitor. She really likes the idea of public speaking so she points out that maybe she could return as a commentator or something of that nature.
She says she really misses the spontaneity of being in the ring and having to make split second decisions with your opponent. She also really misses the people with whom she developed terrific relationships over the years. Being a professional wrestler is a very unique lifestyle, and nobody knows the things that wrestlers go through together on a nightly basis.
Kaitlyn recalls training in FCW with other future WWE Superstars such as A.J. Lee and Naomi. She hadn’t ‘earned her dues’ in the business but was getting fast-tracked to the main roster and this garnered her some heat with other competitors. When she was brought to the main roster she was told her name would be ‘Kaitlyn’, and she wasn’t a fan of that name initially. She says it just didn’t sound like a wrestler’s name to her.
