Hausman mentions that many people are suggesting that John Gaburick will be stepping in to fill Jarrett’s shoes. Bischoff says he worked with ‘Fat Bastar*’Gaburick and he’s simply not a creative person. He says that Gaburick is a phoney who lied to Dixie Carter, telling her that he was one of Vince McMahon’s right hand men in WWE. Bischoff says that couldn’t be any further from the truth.
He says that Gaburick used to drive a UPS truck and he was very good friends with Kevin Dunn. Dunn brought Gaburick into WWE and from everything Bischoff has heard, Vince McMahon couldn’t stand Gaburick and didn’t want him anywhere near the creative table. Gaburick’s lie to Carter led to him having this lenghthy career in TNA/GFW.
Hausman also mentions that Jarrett apparently owns the letters, ‘GFW’, while Anthem owns the name, ‘Global Force Wrestling’. Overall Bischoff says this entire situation is a ‘clusterf***’, and there’s not much more that can be said about it.
A.J. Styles showed up at the NWA Wildside Reunion show over the weekend, and Hausman asks Bischoff if he likes WWE branching out and connecting with indie promotions. Bischoff says he absolutely loved seeing this, and he was particularly proud of Styles who clearly hasn’t forgotten where he came from. He adds that Styles is a truly good soul who deserves the best in life.
