Lane presents a clip of Wade Keller, who was critical of the Dolph Ziggler segment on Smackdown Live this week. Keller said that Ziggler is complaining that he’s not a Champion because he doesn’t have any bells or whistles accompanying him, but the real reason he’s not a Champion is because he’s not winning any matches. Russo laughs and says that this is a fake business! Ziggler doesn’t control whether he wins matches or not.
Russo comments on Jeff Jarrett’s leave of absence from GFW. He says he knows people within the company and he knows exactly what happened leading up to Jarrett’s leave, but he refuses to give the details because he’s trying to protect his old friend. However, he does point out that none of the dirt sheets have the correct story in this case, and that shouldn’t surprise anyone.
Lane presents another clip of Keller, who criticizes Braun Strowman and any other Superstars who use social media on their off time in a way that undermines their WWE character. Keller says that Strowman needs to ‘grow up’. Russo says that these people are characters on a television show, and the notion that they shouldn’t be allowed to utilize social media is outrageous.
He continues by saying that perhaps Strowman is just trying to connect with his fanbase, and we should all be grateful that someone at the top of the mountain cares about his fans like that. Russo doesn’t understand Keller’s mindset in this case, but he would definitely love to see Keller tell Strowman to ‘grow up’ in person. He thinks that would be a fascinating social experiment.
