Blocks 3 & 4:
He says that facial expressions are so important for a Superstar, and he points out that Enzo Amore has it down, while someone like Cedric Alexander does not. Taz is a big fan of Alexander’s body and his work rate, but he’s lacking something in his facial expressions. For this reason, Taz would never book Alexander as a main event guy, and he doesn’t think WWE will either.
Taz talks about the need for more chickenshi* heels. He says that when he was coming up in the business all the heels wanted to be cowards because that’s what made the most money. Heels like Ric Flair popularized that model. Nowadays, everyone wants to be a tough guy and when everyone’s a tough guy, tough guys don’t stand out.
A listener writes into the show and says he believes Big Cass needs to be repackaged. Taz agrees with the caller and points out that the timing of this injury might present the perfect scenario for WWE to repackage Cass. Taz adds that Cass has had the same look for an awfully long time now, and it’s time for a change.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
