Taz opens today’s show speaking about last night’s episode of NXT.

He says he’s still on the fence in terms of how he feels regarding Asuka’s exit from NXT. After watching the show last night he’s more unsure than ever because a part of him believes Asuka should have done the job and dropped the Title on the way out the door, like every Champion before her. The other part of him believes it was a great idea to keep her undefeated streak in tact as she heads to the main roster.

Regardless of what any of us think, Asuka has been the recipient of a massive push, unlike anything we’ve seen before in NXT. WWE and NXT officials seemed determined to maintain that push so they decided to have her relinquish the Title instead of losing it in a match.

Asuka has done a great job making sure this push wasn’t taken for granted, but Taz points out there are a lot of other women who have helped make this push successful as well by making Asuka look good.

Taz noticed one massive issue with the announce team last night. WWE publicly spoiled this episode online by posting pictures from the live taping a few weeks ago, where they told the WWE Universe that Asuka had relinquished her Title. Because of this, many fans knew what was coming when they were watching the show last night.
