A listener calls into the show and asks Taz how often Vince McMahon is backstage for RAW and Smackdown tapings. Taz says that McMahon is always there, and in all the years Taz worked there McMahon only missed one or two tapings because of serious injuries. McMahon micromanages every aspect of WWE, and Taz respects the micromanagement now that he’s away from it.
Taz says it sucks that WWE employees and Superstars are going to have to work on Christmas Day this year. It surprises him that McMahon is going forward with this because against popular opinion, McMahon is not an evil man and he’s high on family. He’s also well aware of the fact that his employees don’t really have any time off all year long, so asking them to work Christmas Day must have been tough on him.
Taz thinks that McMahon will do whatever he can to make the backstage atmosphere pleasurable that day, whether that means bringing the Superstars’ families along or setting up Christmas decorations. He also doesn’t rule out that WWE may hand out Christmas bonuses because McMahon certainly isn’t cheap.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
