Hausman asks for Bischoff’s opinion on AAA stripping Sexy Star of the Reina de Reinas Championship. Bischoff says that this doesn’t matter and he thinks this is a cowardly way out of this situation. He’s sure that Star couldn’t care less and she’s probably happy to have a few weeks off. As long as the cheques are still coming in, she definitely doesn’t care.
Hausman mentioned that Roman Reigns has recently gone on record saying he thinks he’s the first true ‘grey’ Superstar. Bischoff disagrees with this statement, because if his definition of ‘grey’ is the same as Reigns’, he thinks NWO were some of the first ‘grey’ Superstars. They were some of the first Superstars to be treated as heels but also receive cheers. Several Superstars have gone on to receive similar reactions since the NWO.
Bischoff thinks that fans need to react to a Superstar strongly in one way or another, in order for that Superstar and his/her opponents to maximize their potential. Bischoff also says the idea that WWE is going to ‘let the audience decide’ whether a performer is a heel or babyface is the easy way out. That’s what a creative team says as an excuse when they don’t have any answers.
