Block 4:
A listener writes into the show and asks Taz how injuries can affect a performer’s push. Taz says that injuries always suck, but they’re particularly annoying when you’re in the middle of a significant push. Triple H and Vince McMahon have both been injured before, so they understand that these things happen and they do not punish talents for suffering injuries. However, there’s no denying that time continues to pass, and sometimes a certain opportunity gets passed to someone else while injuries heel.
Speaking about Enzo Amore’s transition to 205 Live, Taz says that he thinks WWE is planning to build the Cruiserweight division around Amore moving forward. Amore might have been the worst in-ring technician involved in the 6-man tag on RAW last night, but there’s no doubt that he carried that whole segment with his promo. That was also arguably the biggest pop that any cruiserweight match has received on RAW.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
