Block 1:
Taz opens today’s show by talking about the main event of last night’s Monday Night RAW. He says he wasn’t overly excited about the prospects of this match when WWE began promoting it, but he was proven very wrong by Big Show and Braun Strowman. He points out that when two big men get in the ring together things tend to get very slow and clunky, but that wasn’t the case last night.
Taz gives all the credit in the world to these two men for taking some of the bumps they took, given how big they are. He particularly tips his hat to Big Show, who has been taking big bumps for an awful long time. Show has made a lot of money in this business and he doesn’t need to be taking those types of bumps, so that makes his determination to steal the show last night that much more impressive.
He also points out that the video package leading into the main event was very well done, and interviewing the referee was also a nice touch in Taz’s opinion. He thought the entire show flowed well and led into the main event of the evening perfectly.
If he was to criticize one thing about the main event, he thought the finish fell a little bit flat. After they collapsed the ring in their prior match, a running powerslam – however impressive – seemed to leave the live audience wanting more.
