The caller then goes on to ask Taz about Kevin Nash terming the phrase ‘Vanilla Midgets’ back in WCW, referring to undersized talents such as Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko. Taz says he didn’t hear of that phrase before but if Kevin Nash did say that, that’s merely his opinion. However, if he felt like those guys would never draw a dime in the business he was wrong, since Guerrero went on to become WWE Champion.
Another listener calls into the show and says he feels like WWE has scaled back the usage of their Titantron as of late, and he wonders if that came about as a result of the recent budget cuts which resulted in WWE cutting pyro from live events.
Taz agrees with the caller and he has noticed that the Titantron videos have become very bland as of late. He’s not sure if this is as a result of budget cuts or if it there’s another reason for it, but it’s something he’d love to discuss further on a future episode.
Another listener calls into the show and asks Taz for his opinion on Tye Dillinger, because the caller feels that Dillinger deserves much better than how he’s been presented thus far on the main roster. Taz agrees and says he likes Dillinger a lot. He’s a good worker who talks well, and the ’10’ gimmick is over with audiences. Taz hopes that Dillinger gets a fresh start with the upcoming Superstar Shakeup.
