Austin informs that he hasn’t seen the Cena/Reigns promo segment from this week’s RAW yet, but he has heard how great it was. X-Pac says that Cena ate Reigns’ lunch, and he hopes Reigns learned something from this segment. Austin says if Cena called Reigns out during this promo like people have been saying, this was a big moment for Reigns. When you’re put in that situation you either sink or swim, and hopefully Reigns’ swimming will improve over time.
Austin informs that the now legendary double turn with Bret Hart was Vince McMahon’s idea, but it was Hart’s idea for Austin to get colour. He wasn’t sure about that finish to begin with, but when he was lying there in a pool of his own blood that was an amazing feeling because he knew they executed their plan to the highest level.
He adds that McMahon never brought up the blood. McMahon can smell money, and he knew that was a fantastic moment so Austin assumes that’s why he never bothered to bring it up.
Austin admits that after his retirement it was very hard for him to watch wrestling for a long time. He got back into it for a while but then the booking turned him away again for a couple of years. He says the women’s revolution brought him back to WWE’s programming again.
