X-Pac welcomes Steve Austin to the show.
Austin is asked about the iconic grocery store scene featuring him and Booker T. He says he and Booker planned out the scene ahead of time and Booker had no issue with any of it. However, when the cameras started rolling they ended up ad-libbing 95% of it on the fly, and they did $10,000 worth of damage. Austin actually thought the bill was going to be more than that. He summarizes by saying he has a lot of good memories with Booker T.
Austin is asked if he has an issue with Willie Mack utilizing the ‘Stunner’ as a finisher. Austin says that Mack does a terrific job with that move, and he doesn’t have an issue with any young talents utilizing moves from an older era as long as they ‘put a little stank on it’.
Austin comments on whether he believes any contestants from the Broken Skull Challenge could make a run in professional wrestling. Austin says that Hunter McIntyre is going to make a run at it. He says that McIntyre works like a dog and that just emphasizes his natural athleticism and strength. McIntyre has already spoken to Triple H and he will begin work at the Performance Centre soon.
He says that he checked out the recent NJPW show in Los Angeles. He wanted to be there to take in some of that action because he’s a big fan of a lot of those guys. He says the locker room felt very competitive, and there was a lot of people shocked to see him there. He saw Billy Gunn there for the first time in years, and Gunn almost broke Austin’s hand when he shook it. Austin adds that he might check out BOLA this upcoming weekend, because he’s been wanting to check out that scene for an awfully long time.
