Block 4:
Taz thought that Seth Rollins and Cesaro had a great match last night, but he admits that the Rollins/Ambrose pairing simply isn’t doing anything for him. He’s not invested in this angle, and he’s not even sure how else to explain it.
He says that after The Shield broke up, WWE pushed Seth Rollins to the moon and he was so close to becoming a household name in WWE, on the level of someone like Cena. Unfortunately, Rollins just didn’t get there. Regardless, he thinks Ambrose was the one who really needed to be freshened up lately, and he serves to gain the most from this tag team.
Overall, Taz thinks Ambrose could benefit from a break and a repackaging. He’d write Ambrose off television for a few weeks and then bring him back as a real ‘prick’ heel. He thinks Ambrose could be very effective in that role and that’d be much different than the same old character we see now on a weekly basis.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
