He admits to being disappointed with the John Cena/Baron Corbin match. He expected far more from this bout, but it simply didn’t deliver in his opinion. He also says that Cena didn’t appear to have the same level of conditioning that we’ve grown accustomed to from him over the years. He points out that Cena’s looser schedule may have played a part in this, as well as the fact that he might be bulking up for a new movie role.
X-Pac thought Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt had a fine match, but there were several things about the match that X-Pac would have done differently. He enjoyed seeing Natalya raise the Women’s Title above her head and he was particularly entertained by the tag team match featuring Sheamus/Cesaro and Rollins/Ambrose.
He says the main event of the evening was amazing, and some people still found a way to complain about it. He thought all four men delivered in this bout, and he really likes the fact that WWE is now showing us that Brock Lesnar can be vulnerable from time to time. First with Goldberg and now with Strowman, it’s been proven that Lesnar has some cracks in his armour and X-Pac thinks that’s great storytelling by WWE.
