Block 3:
Taz recalls having a backstage altercation with RVD in ECW one evening. Both men even came to blows in the backstage area and had to be separated before trying to talk out the situation. They had to work together later that night, and Taz had to catch RVD who was booked to execute a big dive. Several of the talents were concerned that Taz would let RVD drop to the floor but that thought never crossed his mind.
He went out to the arena and did business that evening because RVD was trusting him, and it didn’t matter what happened between them backstage hours before. When RVD threw himself into the air he was giving his body to Taz, and there was no way Taz was going to break that trust.
Taz says that he was always a fan of Star and he really enjoyed watching her work in Lucha Underground. He thinks this is a terrible situation, and there’s no denying that this will really hurt her career moving forward. He points out that there’s no way WWE will embrace an outside talent who has this kind of baggage. There’s also no way any woman in WWE’s locker room would work with her now.
