Blocks 1 & 2:
Taz opens today’s show by discussing the events of this past weekend, where Sexy Star reportedly shot on Rosemary during a AAA event, legitimately injuring Rosemary’s arm. Taz says like in every other situation, his first instinct here was to think that it was a work. After gathering some information and speaking to some people in the business, Taz is confident in saying that this was a legit shoot.
He says that this type of situation should never happen, regardless of what issues exist backstage or what events happened earlier in the match. He says that this was not a good match, as there were evident timing issues and several clunky spots. Sexy Star appeared to be the common thread in each of these spots. She appeared to be having issues with all three other women, and even refused to sell certain offences from time to time. It was very weird to watch in Taz’s opinion.
Taz says there’s a code in the wrestling business. If something goes wrong in a match, performers have been known to settle things with a stiff shot or two, and then it’s over. However, that would never happen with a submission because there’s a certain level of trust involved when your opponent gives you their limb. Taz thinks this was a terrible decision by Star, and it’s a great way for her to put a big black ‘X’ on her career.
