It was previously reported via Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer that WWE had planned three main roster call ups. Bobby Roode made his main roster call up at last Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live and William Regal announced at Thursday’s NXT television tapings that Asuka is “negotiating” with Kurt Angle and Daniel Bryan for a main roster call up.
For what it’s worth, The Authors of Pain did not appear at last Thursday’s tapings after dropping the NXT Tag Team Championship titles to SAnitY at the Takeover: Brooklyn III event. It’s very possible that they could be the third main roster call up that Alvarez was talking about last week.
