Blocks 3 & 4:
A listener calls into the show and says that he feels Mickie James is under-utilized in WWE right now. Taz agrees and says that James has been a loyal soldier in WWE for an awfully long time, and it wouldn’t surprise him if she’s hired as an agent or a trainer after her in-ring career comes to an end.
Another listener calls into the show and points out that after RAW went off air last night John Cena cut a promo to the live audience, basically thanking them for being loud and having fun with beachballs all weekend.
Taz says that while the talent often find that type of thing to be disrespectful, Cena cutting that type of promo doesn’t surprise him because Cena is about to transition into Hollywood and he needs people to like him. He’s also a working ambassador for WWE, and he needs to make it known that the company wants their audiences to have fun.
Taz wonders whether we’ll see any surprise arrivals on Smackdown Live tonight. He points out that former NXT Tag Team Champions, The Authors of Pain, may be on their way to the main roster, and of course Bobby Roode is suspected to be joining the main roster very soon as well. Taz thinks Smackdown Live will be a good show tonight.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
