Buck asks Ryback if he’d ever consider fighting in UFC. Ryback says he can’t give a straight answer to that question right now. He admits that his body is feeling a lot better now than it did last year at this time, so those types of proposals are a lot more intriguing to him now. However, he adds that he never wants to work for a boss ever again because he’s very happy working for himself right now.
Ryback addresses Fandango’s comments on Talk is Jericho, where Fandango claimed that Ryback’s gloves smelled. Ryback says Fandango was right and his gloves probably did smell. He had to have his own gloves before WWE started making them for him, so he wore the same gloves regularly and he sweat a lot in them.
He adds that while he was wearing those gloves all of his merchandise was doing very well and he was second in the company in sales behind John Cena. He wanted WWE shop to start selling replica gloves but they refused, saying that gloves never sold in the past. Soon after they began selling gloves for Roman Reigns and Paige, and Ryback was angered by this.
Ryback lists a few of his favourite finishing moves of all time. He always loved Sting’s ‘Scorpion Death Drop’ because it was safe but it also looked devastating. He loved Henry Godwin’s ‘Slop Drop’ and Yokozuna’s ‘Banzai Drop’, and he says that Brock Lesnar’s ‘F5’ is fantastic because it shows off his immense power. He adds that the ‘F5’ was also very unique at the time Lesnar debuted.
