Russo comments on Baron Corbin’s critical tweet directed at Meltzer last week. He says that he’s been a big fan of Corbin since his debut in NXT but after seeing him rip Meltzer apart of Twitter he’s grown to love him even more. Russo thinks that everything Corbin laid out in that tweet was accurate, and it was great to see a WWE Superstar put Meltzer in his place.
Meltzer went on to discuss Corbin on one of his audio shows and he said that WWE has no excuse to keep pushing Corbin. He said that Corbin’s promos suck and he’s yet to have a good match. Russo thinks that’s very arrogant of Meltzer, and he doesn’t believe anyone who’s on the outside of the business should feel confident disrespecting professional wrestlers like that.
Lane mentions that Ryan Satin discussed the return of The Demon on Twitter this past week, saying that he believes The Demon should be saved for big, monumental matches. Russo doesn’t understand this logic at all, and he says if this is the case The Undertaker should have been Mark Callaway on RAW each week and The Undertaker character should have just appeared on PPVs. It doesn’t make any sense.
Another clip of Meltzer presents him saying that there’s a limit to the amount of head shots he likes to watch. Russo says that this is just plain silly. The fact that he says there’s a ‘limit’ to the amount of head shots he enjoys watching, he’s admitting that he doesn’t mind watching people taking legitimate shots to the head over and over again – to a certain degree.
