Russo says he’s glad that The Demon is coming back, but he’s not a fan of the way WWE wrote this storyline. He doesn’t believe that they should be setting up The Demon’s return six days in advance, and Russo believes this should have been a much more elaborate storyline that stretched out over four or five weeks.
He thought Big Cass got terrific heat on RAW, first with his promo and secondly by ‘breaking’ Big Show’s hand with the cage. Russo also believes that WWE needs to be building Elias’ guitar as a threat. He used it as a weapon one week, but hasn’t used it since and Russo thinks that’s a mistake. He admits that WWE officials may have gotten cold feet after Balor was busted open by the guitar shot.
Russo says he refuses to talk about the Cruiserweight division matches because it’s all terrible. He says the best thing about the Cruiserweight division is Neville’s ears, and he’ll never discuss 205 Live on this show.
Russo informs that he switched the channel to ‘Teen Mom’ four times during Heyman’s promo. Heyman’s schtick is so old right now, and he just babbles on for far too long. At this point, Russo believes Heyman is a cartoon character parody of himself. However, he liked the Lesnar/Strowman showdown at the end of the show and he thought RAW was good overall for once.
