He says that Jon Jones’ recent suggestion that he might be ringside at SummerSlam is nothing more than a promotional tactic. He thinks that UFC’s fanbase would not be supportive of a cross promotional relationship with WWE, and he thinks there’s too much wrestling involvement in UFC right now. It’s obvious that UFC’s new ownership is approaching things differently right now, but Bischoff isn’t sure it’s for the better.
He says that UFC is in some trouble right now, and Vince McMahon has everything to gain from a relationship with them while they have everything to lose. He says that the CM Punk ‘experiment’ was a complete disaster and the fanbase doesn’t want to see more of those types of things.
Bischoff thinks the continued battle for the ‘Broken Universe’ is all about Jeff Jarrett and Ed Nordholm’s egos. He says that if they were so concerned with winning this legal battle they’d let their legal team take care of it, but they continue to talk about this issue on conference calls and he doesn’t understand this logic.
