When Samoa Joe interfered in the main event match, Russo feels that Joe should have choked out Strowman as well as Reigns. He’s facing both of these men at SummerSlam, so why wouldn’t he try to get a definitive advantage over both of them?
Moving on to Smackdown Live, Russo thought John Cena did a tremendous job of putting over Nakamura. This is why it bothers him when people chant ‘Cena sucks’, because this guy is a professional who always does what’s best for WWE, even if that means losing clean and putting his opponent over on the mic the next week.
Vito points out that the pairing of Tye Dillinger and Sami Zayn came about simply because WWE needed a filler match and a team for The Usos to beat. He says that Dillinger has been getting buried ever since his social media tirade from months ago, and Sami Zayn is on the highway to nowhere.
Russo says that he thinks the Fashion Police segments are great, and they prove that WWE is still capable of producing entertaining content when they choose to do so. The thing that bothers him is the fact that they seemingly choose not to more often than not.
