Moore asks Lawler and Hart if they believe the ship has sailed on a Hulk Hogan return to WWE. Lawler doesn’t believe that ship has sailed at all because in the professional wrestling you never say never. He still thinks the entire situation that unfolded with Hogan was blown out of proportion but nonetheless, Lawler thinks that entire situation has blown over now.
He thinks the cards are in Hogan’s hands now because if he wants to return to WWE, Lawler thinks they’ll take him back and he’s sure the fans would love to see Hogan return. Hart agrees and says that McMahon has proven in the past that he’ll do whatever’s best for business by bringing back people like Bret Hart and The Ultimate Warrior.
Moore asks Lawler if he has any issue with Corey Graves using Lawler’s ‘Bizarro World’ line when referring to Toronto on RAW this week. Lawler says he really doesn’t care about Graves using that line, or any line for that matter because half of the stuff he used during his career he got from other sources. He doesn’t consider any line to be ‘his’, and he thinks a lot of sharing is required when it comes to being a successful colour commentator.
That sums up this week’s episode of Dinner with the King. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
