Block 1:
A listener calls into the show and asks Taz what he thinks is going on with the Bayley situation right now. Taz says he doesn’t really know what’s happening, and he’s not sure if Bayley is legitimately injured. As soon as Bayley rolled to the outside of the ring and grabbed her shoulder, Michael Cole instantaneously pointed that out.
In addition, after the match Bayley was receiving medical attention in the backstage area and the camera team filmed her during the entire process. From what Taz can remember, camera teams were forbidden to film when talent were legitimately injured like that, so this was a red flag to Taz.
The caller asks Taz what he thinks WWE is planning for Sasha Banks moving forward. Taz says that it appears as if WWE is taking the slow burn approach in turning Banks heel. He points out that a triple threat match at SummerSlam between Bliss, Banks and Bayley might be the way they’re headed. Of course, Nia Jax has to be factored into the equation there somewhere as well.
Another listener calls into the show and asks Taz where he thinks Bobby Roode will go when WWE officials decide to move him from NXT to the main roster. Taz thinks that we’ll see Roode on Smackdown Live, because that’s the better show right now and Roode will fit better there.
