After the opening video packaged, The Miz and Maryse make their way to the ring for an episode of Miz TV. The Miz welcomes us to the show and gets booed.
The Miz calls Dean Ambrose a lying thief who stole his WWE Intercontinental Championship. Ambrose cheated to get out of their title match, so he went to Kurt Angle and requested another match. This time he requested a match to deal with a rule breaker like Dean Ambrose – a match in which Dean cannot get disqualified, or he forfeits his title. Miz illustrates his point by showing how he interfered in Ambrose’s match last week and got him disqualified.
He reminds us that if that happens on Sunday, he wins and becomes the seven-time WWE Intercontinental Champion! His guests tonight though his guests are the “future WWE Tag Team Champions” Sheamus and Cesaro!

The former Champions make their way to the ring and take their seats. The Miz says this is an honour because no two Superstars work harder than those two. No Superstars, besides himself, deserve opportunities as much as Sheamus and Cesaro. They have scraped and fought for even a small opportunity, only for The Hardy Boyz to reappear and take their moments.
Sheamus blasts the fans for turning their backs on Cesaro. Sheamus says the fans aren’t loyal, they’re fickle, they love the new toys. But guess what, they’re going to break that new toy and take back their Raw Tag Team Championships. Miz says they are just like him because they’ve been victimised by the fans. Miz says the fans don’t understand the greatness in the ring right now. The fans boo and chant DELETE and Miz raises his hand, which gets booed. Miz says he elevated the Intercontinental Championship and since then Ambrose has dragged it through dumpsters and made it irrelevant. He says he will win on Sunday and begin the comeback tour that will make the IC title matter again!
Dean Ambrose interrupts The Miz and comes to the ring. Ambrose stops just outside the ring and doesn’t enter. He says he gets himself in trouble often by storming the ring but he can’t help but think that they need their mouths shut. Miz calls Dean stupid and tells him to do the math; 3-on-1. Ambrose says he isn’t stupid and then The Hardy Boyz’ music plays! Matt and Jeff run down the ramp and, alongside Ambrose, slide into the ring and clear Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro out!

The Miz is tagged in, and he stomps away at Matt before tagging Sheamus in. Sheamus uppercuts Matt and clubs away at him. Sheamus hits a short-arm clothesline for a two count. Sheamus applied a chin lock, but Matt fights out. Sheamus quickly knees him down and starts the 10 Beats of the Bodhrán, but stops when the crowd starts counting. Cesaro tags in and jumps off the second rope with an elbow for a two count. Cesaro applies a chin lock, but Matt fights up. Cesaro takes him down and boots Jeff off the apron. Ambrose hits some running forearms before hitting a clothesline. Ambrose knocks Miz off the apron and hits a plancha. Ambrose snaps Cesaro off the top rope and leaps over him. Ambrose goes for Dirty Deeds, but Cesaro reverses it. They seem confused momentarily.
Sheamus blind tags in, and Ambrose gets him out of the ring. Cesaro grabs Ambrose’s ankle, but Jeff hits a baseball slide through his legs. Ambrose rolls Sheamus up for a two count. Ambrose then connects with a swinging neckbreaker. Ambrose goes to the top rope, but Miz distracts him. Sheamus knees Ambrose off the top rope to the floor and we head to commercial.

We return to see The Miz unleashing Daniel Bryan’s kicks to the chest of Dean Ambrose. The fans chant “No” along to the kicks. Ambrose attempts a roll-up but Miz escapes and kicks Miz with a big boot. Cesaro tags in and looks for a European uppercut to Dean in the corner but misses and flies over the top rope and to the floor.
Amrose looks to make a tag to Matt or Jeff but Miz pulls both of them from the apron. Cesaro tags Sheamus, who attacks a helpless Ambrose in the corner, then hits White Noise assisted by a flying Cesaro. Sheamus takes Dean to the top rope and looks for a superplex but Ambrose fights him down, then hits him with a flying elbow. Both men down, Sheamus crawls and gets the tag to Cesaro. Ambrose hits the Lunatic Lariat on Cesaro and tags Jeff as Miz tags in.
Double the impact, DOUBLE the NOISE! #RAW @WWESheamus @WWECesaro pic.twitter.com/ueQwdV8m7Z

Jeff hits flying forearms, then an atomic drop and a dropkick. Matt tags in and we get some Poetry in Motion, then a Side Effect from Matt for a near-fall! Cesaro uppercuts Jeff but gets caught with Dirty Deeds, then Ambrose flies to the outside onto Sheamus. Matt hits Twist of Fate on Miz and Jeff follows-up with Swanton Bomb for the win!
Winners: The Hardy Boyz & Dean Ambrose
After the match Booker and Cole are talking about The Hardy Boyz match with Sheamus and Cesaro this Sunday, then start to discuss Ambrose Vs. The Miz for the IC title on Sunday. Cole asks Corey what he thinks and Graves ignores them while reading his phone then gets up and walks away.
Later tonight, Alexa Bliss will host a This Is Your Life segment for Bayley, to prove she cannot get extreme. Also, Roman Reigns Vs. Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor Vs. Samoa Joe Vs. Bray Wyatt.

We return to see Corey graves showing Kurt Angle his phone and Angle looks displeased. Apparently the phone says that Angle is besmirching his reputation and is a disgrace. Angle asks where he got the message and Graves says he gets information from people. Angle says that if this is true, it will ruin him.
Elias Samson is in the ring, singing his drifty heart out.

Elias Samson Vs. Zac Evans
Samson knee’s Evans in the ribs, then lifts him with a wristlock and slams him to the mat. Samson stands on Evans’ head, then the kid gets to his feet and slaps the chest of Elias but gets smashed to the floor.
Samson beats Evans to the ropes and the referee pulls him off. Samson tosses Evans into the corner like a ragdoll, then slams his head on the apron repeatedly. Elias twists Zac’s body around the ringpost, attempting to break his back.
NO MERCY from @IAmSamsonWWE here tonight! #RAW pic.twitter.com/3xotiybojT

Evans is on his knees and Samson tee’s off on him before hitting his swinging neckbreaker finisher for the three count.
Winner: Elias Samson
Two things to note here: Zac Evans sells like a boss and should be on 205 Live, and Elias Samson is being booked far better on Raw than he ever was on NXT. Samson actually looks really good.
Corey Graves returns to the announce table but can’t say what the phone message was about. The Triple Threat match is up next!
*Commercial Break*
Samoa Joe is watching Finn Bálor’s WWE 24 show backstage. Charly Caruso asks him about his match. Joe says he’s watching the show to learn how to hurt Bálor. Joe says tonight is the devil you know and the devil you don’t, and he knows Balor very well. He knows Bálor has a heart that can’t be matched, but he can break his body. As for Bray Wyatt…
Bray Wyatt’s flashes on the screen and interrupts Joe. Wyatt says he’s the Devil Joe doesn’t know. Wyatt knows that Joe is from a generation of warriors hellbent on glory. Joe is blind. Wyatt sees a future where a Beast runs wild on civilisation. Wyatt sees a world where the Beast screams with a deafening noise. Only one can defeat the Beast, and he is the Eater of Worlds. Wyatt will not turn away from this fight. He will stand up. The others should give in to their fear and run.
Finn Bálor makes his entrance. The triple threat is next.
