Welcome to the highest-flying hour on TV, unless Drew Gulak has something to do with it.
On last week’s show, Austin Aries bested T.J Perkins in a great match that saw Aries extract some revenge. Of course Neville reared his you-know-what head and Aries caught him in Last Chancery. Eventually the numbers game caught up to Aries and he found himself in the Rings of Saturn to end the show. Aries will, surely, be looking to extract some more revenge and maybe cost Neville his non-title match against Jack Gallagher tonight. The two did send Neville and Perkins reeling last night, and maybe they can strike lightning twice.
Akira Tozawa one again bested his “mentor” Brian Kendrick last week, as he used Kendrick to score a win over Tony Nese. Needless to say the Premiere Athlete wasn’t too happy about losing again, so he took it out on Kendrick, who thus learned lesson number 3: “You need to have eyes in the back of your head.” How many more lessons will Kendrick learn before he blows a gasket?
And then there’s Drew Gulak, who hates the Cruiserweight-style of wrestling. He hates the high-flying antics everyone around him is doing, and he wants to put an end to it all. This is starting to be a real thorn in the side of the uber-talented Musafa Ali and it won’t be long until the two are drawn into a match, in which Gulak will surely see the benefits of flying high.
