We jump to the arena and watch the pyro. Corey Graves hypes the Dumpster Match between Strowman and Kalisto later tonight. Chris Jericho comes to the ring to a nice pop from the fans in Kansas City.
Jericho welcomes us to a monumental version of the Highlight Reel. And that’s because this is the last Highlight Reel on Raw; he will beat Kevin Owens for the US title at Payback, and then head over to SmackDown Live. However it doesn’t matter if it’s Raw, SmackDown, NXT, or Southpaw Regional Wrestling, the fans will always be his friends.
Jericho says for the final Highlight Reel, he needed a huge guest, a sexy guest: himself. He then says that Owens ran to SmackDown and is calling himself “the face of America”, but he thinks Owens is more like the “hemorrhoid’s of America.” He is about to put Owens on the list when The Miz and Maryse come out.
The Miz comes down to the ring and the fans are chanting “you suck”, to which Miz says “I couldn’t possibly suck, I’m not from Kansas.” He then says Monday Night Raw is all about the it couple. Miz says that the Highlight Reel has been cancelled and Miz TV has replaced it. Officials run around, changing the set to fit Miz TV.
That’s right, @mikethemiz and @MaryseMizanin…
You better watch IT! @IAmJericho #Raw #HighlightReel pic.twitter.com/RjWH3Pq28j— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) April 25, 2017
The Miz welcomes us to Miz TV and then Dean Ambrose comes out and interrupts him. Ambrose says Jericho was right, Miz is a stupid idiot. The Miz says that Jericho never called him that and Jericho says it’s fine because he was thinking it. Ambrose says nobody wants to see Miz TV, so he gets the set changed to The Ambrose Asylum.
After introducing his guests, Ambrose says that he wishes Jericho luck in his upcoming title match. They recount their history together and Jericho reminds Dean that he owes his $15,000 for a jacket. Ambrose says he doesn’t have that money but he can do one better, and he gives him a new jacket, which is just a blazer with Christmas lights on it. Jericho loves it and puts it on as the fans chant ‘Yes!’.
The Miz shouts at them, saying they are awful and he is the saviour of Monday Night Raw. Miz says he deserves gifts, to which Ambrose gives him a Dirty Deeds. Ambrose leaves and before Y2J follows, he puts Maryse on The List of Jericho.
We see Matta and Jeff Hardy walking to the ring as we head to a break.

Matt Hardy Vs. Sheamus
Matt begins with a quick roll-up cover to kick things off but Sheamus kicks out. Sheamus gets him in a headlock and clotheslines Hardy to the mat. Matt regains control with a neck-breaker and a leg drop, then two more.
Matt is almost lifted up for a powerslam but works his way out of it only to eat a boot. Sheamus finds himself on the apron and Matt catches him with a huge Side Effect onto the hard ring edge. We go to a break with the Irishman on the back foot.

We return from the break to see Matt in a headlock as Jeff watches on from ringside. Sheamus fights out and manages to get on the apron, where he clobbers Matt with the ten beats of the Bodhran.
Sheamus climbs to the third rope and dives onto Matt but the cover that followed wasn’t enough to put him away. Sheamus tries to crush Matt in the corner but Hardy evades just in time to see Sheamus crash into the ring post. He then plants Sheamus to the mat with a DDT.
Fun fact: THIS move won the #HardyBoyz their very first tag team gold back in 1999! #Raw @JEFFHARDYBRAND @MATTHARDYBRAND pic.twitter.com/KqhvwMhYWx

Matt hits a running bulldog, then takes to the third rope and dives down onto Sheamus. The action then spills out of the ring, where Sheamus hit Matt with a Running Senton. As the action returns to the ring, Jeff speaks to the ref, which distracts Sheamus. Cesaro comes to his partner’s aid by pulling Jeff off the apron but it just distracts Sheamus enough for Matt to hit him with the Twist of Fate for the win.
Winner: Matt Hardy
There’s some arguing after the match but it’s actually Sheamus who eases the tension and gets all four guys to shake hands one more time before their match at Payback.
We see Kurt Angle backstage and he’s on the phone, confirming the main event for tonight. He says he will talk to Kalisto again to make sure he wants to go through with it. He turns around to see Miz and Maryse waiting, he asks why they barged into his office. Miz says he was waiting for 2 minutes and that’s unacceptable. He says it’s also unacceptable that Ambrose and Jericho were allowed to interrupt them. Angle books Miz in a match with both men tonight, and he can find a partner if he wants.

Neville & T.J Perkins Vs. Jack Gallagher & Austin Aries
Aries and Gallagher are pissed off and storm the ring, attacking the heels to start the match. The odd couple manage to knock Neville and Perkins from the ring and celebrate as we head to a break.

As we return from the break, TJ seems in control and tags in his partner, who immediately gets Jack in a headlock. Jack tries to create space with a stomp. TJ involves himself in the action and tries to fling Neville into Jack in the corner, however, the Cruiserweight Champion slams the ring post.
Jack creates enough space to make the tag and AA clears house with a kick on the apron. He then has TJ on his shoulders and as Neville tries to help his team-mate he is flung over the top rope.

Aries then dives through the ropes and connects. Jack then comes to help his partner out and greets Neville with a hard headbutt to take him out of the match. Aries then catches TJ in the Last Chancery in the centre of the ring only to be broken up by Neville. The King gets knocked from the ring and he grabs his title and walks off, leaving Perkins to get caught with the Discus Fivearm from Aries.
Winners: Austin Aries & Jack Gallagher
Neville retreats with his title after the match, leaving Aries and Gallagher to celebrate.
