Kick-Off Show
The WWE Fastlane kick-off show begins and we head to the panel consisting of Renee Young, Booker T, and Peter Rosenberg. Charly Caruso is also in the Social Media Lounge, where she will be interviewing Samoa Joe later tonight. Booker T made a joke about Tom Phillips’ recent controversy and Charly said she has replaced him for tonight’s show.
We take a look at the heated rivalry between Braun Strwoman and Roman Reigns. Rosenberg says this is Strowman’s biggest match to date. Booker says Roman proved a lot at the contract signing; he didn’t retreat, he got back up and signed the contract even after the beating he took. Rosenberg counters that Strowman can’t be kept down. Rosenberg says this is Strowman’s night, he will beat Roman. Booker T and Renee both say they think Roman will win because he always finds a way to overcome adversity.

Noam Dar and Alicia Fox are shown backstage. Brian Kendrick approaches and says he is excited for their match tonight. Kendrick says tonight is a big opportunity for Dar, because he gets to team-up with a former Champion. Kendrick says he has a special lesson to teach Tozawa tonight and Dar says they will make a quality team. Dar says he will do anything to win for Alicia Foooox. Kendrick says he just hope no-one melts down tonight and Alicia freaks out. Dar separates them and says they will win tonight and come back and celebrate together. Kendrick simply says he doesn’t deal with crazy and walks off, leaving Dar to deal with Alicia’s tantrum.
Sheamus and Cesaro join the panel to discuss tonight’s Tag Team Title’s match between The Club and Enzo & Big Cass. They say their titles were stolen and Cesaro gets angry that they aren’t even on the show tonight. He stands up and poses, causing the fans to erupt in cheers, and he throws papers saying the people want to see him and Sheamus in the ring. Sheamus gets up and poses and the fans boo but Cesaro defends him, saying he brought out the best in him and he beats up everyone. They argue for a minute with Foley before saying they would happily face either team, or both, at WrestleMania.
We see Mick Foley backstage and talking to Stephanie via speakerphone. It seems that Mick is running the show by himself and his neck is on the line! Rusev and Lana walk in and announce that Handsome Rusev is no longer in a team with Jinder ‘Hardbody’ Mahal. Mahal walks i and they argue, so Foley books a match between them for tonight!

The final question is what has planned for WrestleMania, and Joe says his presence will be felt full-force. He says what his plan is will be revealed real soon.
Next the panel discuss Bayley Vs. Charlotte after a video package. Peter Rosenberg says Charlotte’s streak will definitely not end tonight, regardless of Bayley’s spirit and heart but it won’t be enough. Booker says he disagree’s, Bayley has the fire and determination to end Charlotte’s streak tonight. Booker says Bayley’s desire to be Champion at WrestleMania will see her win. Renee agree’s with Booker that Bayley will find a way.
Rich Swann & Akira Tozawa Vs. Noam Dar & Brian Kendrick
Swann and Dar shake hands before the bell but Kendrick and Tozawa do not.
Kendrick and Tozawa start the match but Kendrick immediately tags Dar into the match and the fans boo. Aries calls it masterful mind games. Tozawa and Dar lock-up and the buzzsaw forces Dar into the ropes before screaming at him, thus scaring Noam.
Tozawa punches Dar against the ropes, then knocks him off of the ropes and Kendrick blind-tags. Kendrick attacks Tozawa from behind, then he and Dar look for a double suplex but Swann grabs Tozawa down and they hit double dropkick’s. Kendrick and Dar roll from the ring and hide behind Alicia Fox as Swann and Tozawa look for double suicide dives.
Dar and Kendrick double-team Swann outside the ring and take control of the match. Dar works on the recently injured arm of Rich Swann before tagging Kendrick back into the match. Kendrick catches Swann with a drop toe hold, then looks for the Captain’s Hook but Swann blocks it. Kendrick with a suplex and tag to Dar.
Noam rakes the eyes of Rich after a double-arm suplex. Swann ducks Dar and lands a huge headkick. Tozawa tags in and kicks Kendrick n the face.
