WWE has a lot of things in the pipeline and some of those plans take a lot more effort to coordinate. The Rock’s insanely busy schedule makes it really difficult to nail him down for a WWE appearance, but there are strong rumors that The Great One will be back for a Survivor Series appearance of some kind.

Ringside News has learned that The Rock is not being considered for a WrestleMania 38 role in Dallas Texas’ AT&T Stadium, because the company already knows where they want him to perform.

WWE has the next couple of years’ worth of WrestleMania locations lined up, and a huge show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California is likely getting Dwayne Johnson.

We were told that “Rock was not a consideration for WM 2022 because he’s a virtual lock for Hollywood Mania 2023.” It was not noted who The Rock is expected to face, but there is one obvious choice in Roman Reigns.

The Rock’s last match was over in seconds, because he can’t wrestle with all the money that studios invest in him. His match against Cena caused a delay for Hercules, costing the studio a ton of money. Nobody wants that to happen again.

WWE fans might see The Rock before WrestleMania 39 rolls around in California, but he is nearly a done deal for the show of shows in 2023.
