Stephanie McMahon has a lot of responsibilities as the daughter of Vince McMahon. She is the Chief Brand Officer of WWE but is also a controversial figure. McMahon was accused of giving a pitched storyline to someone else.

Former WWE Superstar Jazz was one of the highlights of the women’s division during the early to mid-2000s. The two-time Women’s Champion also had a hard time getting television time on WWE’s revamped ECW brand in 2006.

Stephanie McMahon, who was part of the creative team at the time, asked Jazz to create her own storyline. While speaking on Rene Dupree’s Cafe de Rene podcast, Jazz stated that she got help from Fit Finlay and Paul Heyman to write a six-week angle.

Jazz revealed that while Stephanie McMahon approved of the idea, McMahon ultimately decided to give the angel to someone else instead.

“Stephanie ran it and everything. Just two weeks later, she got back with me. She was like, ‘Jazz, I got good news and bad news. Which one you want first?’ I was like, ‘Just throw it at me however you wanna give it to me.’ She said, ‘The good news is we f****** loved it. The bad news is we’re gonna give it to somebody else.’ I was like, ‘Wow.”

Jazz has been actively competing in companies over the years since her WWE release, including Impact Wrestling. Jazz also previously made it clear she wants to retire this year, so we’ll have to see when that happens.
