Oba Femi Calls Out Main Roster Stars to Face Him After 8/13 WWE NXT

Oba Femi won the Men’s Breakout Tournament and became the NXT North American Champion back in January and since then he has been utterly dominant as the champion. After NXT this week, Femi called out main roster stars to face him.

On the August 13th episode of WWE NXT, Oba Femi held an Open Challenge for the NXT North American Championship. WWE Raw superstar Otis accepted the Open Challenge and fans were excited for the match.

Oba Femi secured a decisive victory by lifting Otis for a powerbomb and pinning him in the center of the ring, reinforcing his dominance as the North American Champion. The fans at the NXT Arena cheered as Femi celebrated his win.

On Instagram, WWE shared a video of Femi commenting on his victory. He expressed respect for Otis but issued a challenge to anyone from both NXT and the main roster to step up, suggesting that if Otis couldn’t defeat him, he doubts anyone else can.

“Another successful title defense. With all due respect to Otis, he couldn’t get the job done tonight. I challenge anyone from NXT and anyone from the main roster to come here and give me a challenge. Because if Otis couldn’t do it, I don’t think anyone can.”

We will have to wait and see whether more main roster stars will end up squaring off against other main roster stars, as it is quite clear that Oba Femi’s reign of dominance won’t end anytime soon.
