As you all might know, Y2J challenged The Straight-Edge Superstar, CM Punk, to a one-on-one match at WWE's newest Pay-Per-View, Payback. The challenge was accepted by Paul Heyman on behalf of the former WWE champion. This will be the third time Punk and Jericho face off in a PPV. There are rumors going around that CM Punk won't return to face Jericho. Some people think the Curtis Axel, the newest Paul Heyman Guy, will be replace Punk. I think this won't happen.

As we saw on SmackDown, Axel did battle Jericho in what was a great match. Paul Heyman used CM Punk's entrance theme to distract Jericho, giving Axel the opportunity to capitalize and win via roll-up in the process. I don't think WWE will book Axel again against Chris. Of course, Curtis might interfere in the match and help Punk get the victory.

But what I think will happen is: CM Punk is in control. He wants to hoist Jericho on his back for the GTS when suddenly, Lesnar's music hits. He stands on the stage and Punk gets distracted. Jericho takes advantage and gets a win via roll-up. This could lead to Brock vs. Punk at SummerSlam. This match has been highly anticipated by the WWE Universe.

However, this might not happen. WWE posted a picture on Facebook with HHH and Lesnar on the cover. This may lead to Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar IV. All the comments on that picture were not very positive. We can see that everyone is getting bored of the Brock/HHH rivalry.

Great blog

I also thought of another idea: CM Punk's music hits and he doesn't come out at Payback. After, Axel's music hits and he comes out. Right as Axel is about to hit the ring, Punk comes out and takes the match, infuriating Paul Heyman, potentially leading to Punk vs. Axel at Summerslam.
