WrestleMania's biggest matches of the last 4 years.
WrestleMania is the most anticipated event in wrestling history. The Showcase of Immortals is watched worldwide and viewed live by millions and thousands respectively. There is no doubt that wrestling fans all over the world are excited for this year's WrestleMania. Here, I will be listing the top 5 matches at WrestleMania in the past 4 years.
The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 26)
This is perhaps the saddest match in WrestleMania history because it was The Heartbreak Kid's final match in the WWE. The stipulation was that if Undertaker defeats Shawn Michaels, Michaels would leave WWE for good. The Undertaker won the battle after an amazing and jaw-dropping match-up.
Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk (WrestleMania 28)
This was arguably the greatest match at WrestleMania 28. We witnessed a great battle for the prestigious WWE title between The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla, Chris Jericho and the Straight-Edge WWE Champion, CM Punk. This match is definitely a must watch for wrestling fans. You just couldn't keep your eyes off the screen. CM Punk won that match and retained his WWE Title after a great match.
Randy Orton vs. Triple H (WrestleMania 25)
After Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble of 2009 by eliminating HHH with the help of his stable, Legacy, Randy found himself face-to-face with the King Of Kings
again. This time, in a WrestleMania main event for the WWE title. As you may recall, Triple H screwed the Viper by turning on him after he won the World
Heavyweight Championship from Chris Benoit, becoming the youngest World Heavyweight Champ in history. Triple H later would win the WH title from Orton, and
after WrestleMania 25, it was The Game who had his hand raised, signaling another WrestleMania victory for The King Of Kings.
The Undertaker vs. Triple H (WrestleMania 28)
This match had a lot of awesome features. Not only was it contested in a Hell In A Cell, but the special guest referee was none other than the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. The Undertaker was so upset because he couldn't walk out of WM27 on his own feet, so he wanted a rematch with Triple H. The match was brutual and at one point, we all though Undertaker's streak would end. That was after HBK hit him with the Sweet Chin Music and Triple H hit him with the Pedigree right after it. Undertaker would then hit the Tombstone Piledriver on The King of Kings, expanding his legendary undefeated streak to 20-0.
The Rock vs. John Cena. (WrestleMania 28)
I guess you could say that WrestleMania 28 was the best in the last 4 years. Its main event was The Rock vs. John Cena. This feud started when The Rock helped The Miz retain his WWE Title at WM27 against John Cena. This was the only match in WWE to be set a year before. Everyone was excited about it. The match had a lot of great moments, but it ended when John Cena went for The People's Elbow but The Rock took advantage and hit him with the Rock Bottom. The Great One pinned Cena and got the victory in his hometown of Miami, Florida.
