Sting Joining WWE Soon?

Sting Joining WWE Soon?

Posted on July 2, 2013 by
As seen on last night's RAW, WWE included current TNA star Sting in their video packages looking back at former World Heavyweight Champions.

F4Wonline.com reports that Sting was included in those video packages for a reason.

Word is that Sting is once again interested in joining WWE. While he hasn't opened direct negotiations with the company, he has sent feelers to WWE about joining them. There is said to be a lot of confidence on WWE's side that Sting will be on their roster eventually.

Tons of Exclusive "Premium" News for Free - SummerSlam Rumors, Heat at RAW, CM Punk Upset?, RVD's WWE Future and Lots More...

I call bullshit on this; just because for years, these websites have claimed Sting is coming to WWE, yet he hasn't.. I'll believe it when it happens, but until then, I call bullshit on Sting coming to WWE; it's just the internet media or whatever you want to call it, getting the fans hopes up.

And to...

If, and only if, he goes to WWE it's gonna be for a match with Taker and, possibly a WWE title run to end his career.

@Victor Laboy: I agree. Sting has stated in many interviews that if he did go to WWE, that Undertaker is the only person he really wants to have a match against.

Sting vs. Undertaker is probably the only Dream Match from the Attitude Era that can probably only happen since most of the wrestlers from ...

Unfortunately Art; I can see the same old happen with Sting taking some time off only to re-sign with TNA; but it would be awesome IF Sting debuted in the WWE at Royal Rumble with his baseball bat and challenges Undertaker to a match of immortals and icons at Wrestlemania 30.

^ Yep. In some essence, that World championship currently held by Alberto, it's roots go way back to the NWA..

Even though, WWE.com and Wiki say Triple H was the first World champion, the truth is, he isn't.. After Survivor Series 2001, The Rock, who was reigning WCW World champ at the time, renamed ...

That World title could probably go further into history because when Orville Brown was named the first NWA World champion in 1947, he was at the time the reigning MWA World Heavyweight champion and the MWA championship was a championship that has lineage dating back to the first Original World Heavy...

Rick Wall. He wouldn't need to challenge Taker at the Rumble but with the final 4 in the RR, the lights go out. Old school sting music hits. Thunder and lightning pyro. On the titantron is says either Coming Soon. with the black outline paint. Or Cryptic message, hinting at his debut. The problem is...

i think at this stage it would be pointless to bring Sting into WWE. he's not what he used to be.

and as for the taker/sting match. yeah it'd be great and all... 10-15 years ago. Now, both of them are old and their bodies are older. It wouldn't be a great match

Sting and Taker would be great even today. I mean we saw how good he was against Punk. So I think if nothing else they should fight at WM. Then both retire and in the HOF.

If Stinger ever joins the WWE then he would be on a very limited schedule due to age and other factors. Only one or two fueds in a years time I predict for him if he does. Taker being one.

What would even be the use of this idea? He barely has any time left in his career and is extremely over the hill. WWE has more than enough part timers working once every few months or a year so another part timer won't be any interesting especially since we all know he won't be able to put on a fiv...

And before I get the whole "He'll be good for the younger talent" c...

I agree with Hard Ace to an extent. I personally think if anybody should go at it with Sting it should be Taker at WM. Why? Both are legends. Both have short time left in their careers, and look at who Taker faced at the last 4 WM. You can't just follow that by letting face someone like DB no disres...
