The die-hard AEW fanbase has noticed the absence of veteran commentator Jim Ross from the screen recently due to ongoing health issues. Unfortunately, he faced another setback, but seems to have overcome the odds once again.
The WWE Hall of Famer revealed that he had returned to the emergency room due to difficulty breathing and had been admitted to the ER for a possible overnight but reassured fans that he would be okay.
However, a new and possibly positive update shared by Good Ol’ JR via his X, he announced that he would be flying to New York City this weekend for the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

With Jim Ross confirming his presence for the mega show for AEW, it surely means that he is healthy enough to join the festivities of Forbidden. However, we will have to wait and see the capacity in which Jim Ross might be used for the event.
