Significance of Bracelet Drew McIntyre Stole from CM Punk After 6/21 WWE SmackDown Revealed

Drew McIntyre displayed intense animosity towards CM Punk on last week’s Friday Night SmackDown, viciously attacking The Second City Saint. In addition to the assault, McIntyre stole a bracelet from Punk, which has now been revealed to hold significant meaning.

On the June 21 edition of SmackDown in Chicago, CM Punk opened the show by addressing the fallout from WWE Clash at the Castle. He was disappointed over missing a critical World title opportunity in Drew McIntyre’s native Scotland and talked about his alliance with Cody Rhodes to fend off potential attacks from The Bloodline.

Later in the show, a backstage segment featuring DIY and Grayson Waller was abruptly interrupted by a shocking noise. The garage door slowly opened, revealing CM Punk lying lifeless on the floor. Drew McIntyre made his shocking appearance as he was driven by a desire for revenge against Punk.

McIntyre forcefully dragged the bloodied Punk to the ringside area and dumped him onto the entrance ramp. General Manager Nick Aldis swiftly intervened, deploying security to restore order. Punk was ultimately transported to the hospital in an ambulance.

The Scottish Warrior also stole a bracelet from CM Punk during his assault and this bracelet holds a lot of significance for Punk, as it contains the name of Punk’s wife AJ Lee and his beloved dog Larry.

We have also reported that there is uncertainty regarding CM Punk being cleared for in-ring competition in time for SummerSlam on August 3rd, for a match against Drew McIntyre. Regardless, we’ll have to see if McIntyre will address stealing Punk’s bracelet in the meantime.
