Kris Statlander Advances in Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Match on 6/19 AEW Dynamite

The prestigious Owen Hart Foundation Cup, dedicated to the memory of the late Owen Hart, began on tonight’s June 19 edition of AEW Dynamite.

The women’s side of the tournament featured the dynamic Nyla Rose battling against the ruthless Kris Statlander, flanked by her manager, Stokely Hathaway, in the quarter-finals, both of whom have been on a mean streak in recent weeks on AEW.

The action-packed thriller was a sight to witness between the AEW female stars, who were looking to move ahead in the tournament, which promises a huge title opportunity to the winner at AEW All In 2024.

At the end of the showdown, Kris Statlander planted Nyla Rose with her finisher to clinch the win and advance further in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament. Following the bout, Kris and Stokely berated their former friend, Willow Nightingale, who appeared on the titantron. Reminding that she is also a part of the tournament, Willow promised to hunt down Statlander amidst her quest to grab the title match in Wembley Stadium.
